George H. Solich has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of FourPoint Energy since October 2013.
Prior to joining FourPoint, Mr. Solich founded and served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cordillera Energy Partners, Cordillera Energy Partners II, and Cordillera Energy Partners III from February 2000 until October 2012. Mr. Solich has over thirty years of oil and gas experience in the E&P and acquisitions and divestitures field. Prior to forming Cordillera Energy Partners, Mr. Solich served as the Vice President of Acquisitions and Divestitures for HS Resources, Inc. from 1997 until 2000. Mr. Solich began his career as a Petroleum Landman with Apache Corporation in 1984 eventually becoming the Director of Business Development. Mr. Solich served on the Board of Directors of Western Energy Alliance (formerly IPAMS) from 1998 until 2012 and was on the Executive Committee starting in 2002, serving as president in 2009 and 2010. Mr. Solich also serves on the Advisory Board for the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities at University of Colorado at Denver, the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the ACE Scholarships, the Board of Directors of Colorado UpLift, and the Board of Directors of the Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation. Mr. Solich formerly served on the Board of Directors of Cherry Hills Country Club, and was the General Chairman of the 2014 BMW Championship at Cherry Hills. Mr. Solich holds a B.S. degree from the University of Colorado and a M.S. degree from the University of Colorado-Denver.
