Eric Eichler serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at FourPoint.
Prior to being promoted to his current position in 2024, Eichler served as the Vice President of Engineering, responsible for all engineering and data science functions, including the evaluation of business development opportunities, development planning, corporate reserves and reservoir modeling. Eichler joined the FourPoint Energy team in 2016 as a reservoir engineer focused on development opportunities, exploration projects, and mineral acquisitions in the Midcontinent and Permian Basin.
Before joining FourPoint, Eichler was a Senior Reservoir Engineer with Apache Corporation in Calgary, where he contributed to the subsurface assessment, capital planning, and business development efforts in the company’s emerging, unconventional Montney play. He also held various engineering roles within the Worldwide Basin Analysis, Kitimat LNG and Global Gas Monetization teams at Apache in Houston since 2008.
Eichler holds a MS degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
