Areas of Operation
FourPoint takes a rigorous approach to geoscience and engineering. Our team combines this approach with our operational expertise and innovation to expand the known limits of the most prolific parts of resource plays. FourPoint’s experience as a responsible and proven operator is demonstrated by drilling and completing nearly 400 horizontal wells and managing field operations with more than 2,000 operated wells throughout the organization’s history.
Uinta Basin
The Uinta Basin, in northeast Utah, is a prolific, oil-producing region, distinguished by several thousand feet of hydrocarbon-rich reservoirs and premium-grade waxy crude. With nearly 3,000 feet of stacked pay across as many as 12 geologic targets, FourPoint holds one of the largest, most contiguous acreage positions in the basin’s core, supported by a deep inventory of highly economic drilling locations.
Permian Basin
The Permian Basin, in west Texas and southeastern New Mexico, is one of the most prolific oil basins in North America, characterized by extensive multi-zone resource potential and decades of drilling inventory. With over 4,000 feet of stacked pay across numerous formations, including the Spraberry and Wolfcamp, the basin offers exceptional reservoir quality and well performance. FourPoint has strategically acquired and consolidated specific drillable units in Martin, Midland and Upton counties, with compelling economics and a model to fully develop and produce each unit building scale over time.
